The Moosehead area stretches from the headwaters of the Moose River in Jackmanto the southern end of Moosehead Lake 'the state's largest lake' in Greenville The area is rich in scenic beauty and is known for it's abundance of fish and wildlifeand historical significance.

    Beaver Cove Camps is located on the east shore of Moosehead Lake. Our housekeeping cabins are open year round offering a comfortable getaway for family vacations and those interested in fishing (salmon, trout, and bass) or hunting (birds, bear, moose and deer). Dock and boat launch facilities available for our guests. ITS snowmobile trail access.

    The Birches Resort offers rustic log cabins on the shore of beautiful Moosehead Lake. Cabins come complete with electricity, hot/cold running water, cooking and bathing facilities, cookware, utensils, and towels/linens. Cabins range from one- to four-bedrooms. All cabins are heated with wood or heat monitors, and some feature fireplaces.
